The best transport to travel are the train and the bus. Just let you know that the bus is better than train for long travels.

You can travel all around the island without limit with train or bus tickest.

Irish explorer, 8 days for 145 euro; Irish Rover by bus and you can choose 3.8 or 15 days also with north ireland, everything for 60, 135 or 195 euro; Emerald card for train and bus for all over the island in 8 or 15 days just for 168 € or 290€. And the last ticket is irish Rambler to travel by bus in during 3 days for 45€; during 8 days for 100€ or during 15 days for 145€.
